Situated on a high ridge, in pasture, with commanding views of the surrounding landscape. Ringfort (WM031-028----) lies c. 105m to NW and ringfort (WM031-031----) lies c. 165m to SSE. Depicted on the revised 19130ed. OS 25-inch map as a subcircular-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 27m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone. The bank has been much disturbed by the dumping of stones at W and N. The interior rises from the perimeter toward the centre and is strewn with loose stone. Monument is visible today as a roughly circular-shaped tree-planted earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography. Compiled by Alison McQueen, Vera Rahilly and Caimin O’Brien.
