Situated on NE-facing slope, in pasture, with commanding views to N, E and W. Ringfort (WM031-017----) lies c. 100m to SE. Depicted on the 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 38m) enclosed by a wide earthen bank and a wide external fosse with entrance gap at E. The interior has a NW-facing slope and a small pile of stone is visible in the E quadrant. Monument is visible today as a circular-shaped tree-lined earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
