Situated on a rise, in low-lying rough wet pasture, with good views in all directions. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as an oval-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area enclosed by a low earth and stone bank. It was not possible to examine the interior as a large quantity of earth, stones, trees and roots from the adjoining fields have been dumped in the interior. Monument is visible today as a roughly oval-shaped tree-planted earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
