Situated on top of a roughly circular-shaped natural knoll, in pasture. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a subcircular-shaped earthwork. Levelled monument described in 1983 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 30m) defined by a band of differential growth around the edge of a natural hillock, which presumably represents a backfilled fosse. According to local information, this monument was a ringfort with a bank approximately 2-3ft in height and was levelled out c. 1980. Levelled monument is not visible today on Digital Globe aerial photography.
