Situated on NNW-facing slope, in wet undulating pasture, overlooking the Tang River c. 100m to NW. Ringforts (WM030-016----/-017----) lie c. 150m to NW and c. 190m to WNW, respectively. Depicted as an earthwork on Larkin’s 1808 map of Co. Westmeath (NLI, MS 46,580). Monument described in 1983 as no surface remains visible. Monument is not visible today and the area has been planted with forestry on Digital Globe aerial photography. Compiled by Alison McQueen, Vera Rahilly and Caimin O’Brien.
