What is recorded here

Situated on a small hill, in undulating pasture, with good views to W and restricted by higher ground in other directions. In centre of ringfort (WM026-060----) are the remains of a long rectangular-shaped house site (dims. 13m E-W; 4.3m N-S) defined by a low earthen bank (overall Wth 3m; H 0.3m). There is no visible trace of a doorway. Compiled by Alison McQueen, Vera Rahilly and Caimin O’Brien. Date of upload: 02 October 2019

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
