Situated in relatively low-lying pasture and overlooked by higher gently undulating pasture restricting the surrounding views. A stream lies c. 18m to W. A rectilinear-shaped earthwork (WM025-101----) lies c. 200m to SE. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as a subrectangular-shaped earthwork with rounded corners, annotated ‘Fort’. Monument described in 1971 as no surface remains visible. A slight oval-shaped rise running ESE-WNW marks the site of this ringfort.
