Situated on a slight rise, in gently undulating and low-lying wet pasture, with good views in all directions. A ringfort (WM025-057----) lies c. 145m to SW. Bivallate ringfort described in 1977 as a large circular-shaped area enclosed by a bank, an intervening fosse and an outer bank. The inner bank of earth and stone is low and rounded. The banks have been levelled from NNE-NE, where the perimeter is marked instead by a low rise. There is a fairly well preserved intervening fosse and an outer bank at NW. The interior has a gentle SE-facing slope and a rectangular-shaped house site (WM025-056001-) in the centre.
