Situated at the NE edge of a low rise, in pasture, with wide views to N and E and overlooked by rising ground to S and W. Barrow (WM025-036----) lies c. 40m to N. Located to the immediate ESE of ringfort (WM025-037001-) is a depression which leads into a corbelled chamber of a souterrain. Described in 1971 as short portions of the ends of two souterrain galleries are visible and accessible. They are very near each other and almost end to end but not quite on the same alignment. A very low narrow passage way extends to ENE from this and does not appear to extend back to the ringfort. In close proximity to field system whereby a field bank running NE-SW abuts the monument to E and two other field banks are in close proximity to N and SSW.
