What is recorded here

Situated in gently undulating pasture with good views to E, S and W. Poorly preserved monument described in 1971 as a much disturbed subcircular-shaped area defined by a bank and external fosse. The bank is visible from N-E-S-W-WNW where it is almost reduced to a scarp. The scarp is quite steep and has large stones forming an external facing. The bank has been levelled from WNW-NW-N. There are traces of a fosse in places. The original entrance is not recognisable. The interior is much disturbed by cultivation ridges running N-S across the W half and running E-W across the E half. Compiled by Alison McQueen, Vera Rahilly and Caimin O’Brien. Date of upload: 12 August 2019
