Situated on top of a slight rise, in gently undulating pasture, with good views in all directions. Monument described in 1971 and 1976 as a circular-shaped area (dims. 44m N-S; 42m E-W) enclosed by a bank, an intervening fosse and an outer bank. The inner bank is low and defaced in several places. The shallow fosse and low outer bank are visible from NE-E-S. The enclosing elements have been quarried away at SSW and there is a large quarry depression outside the monument at WNW. The original entrance is not visible. The interior rises slightly from the perimeter towards the centre and has cultivation ridges running E-W.
