Situated on S-facing slope of a ridge, in pasture, with wide views to S and W. Washford House lies c. 125m to SW. Annotated ‘Standing Stone’ on OS 6-inch map. Monument described in 1978 as an upright limestone slab (approx. H 1.95m; base Wth 1.9m; T 0.3m) with slightly rounded top which currently stands inclined at an angle of 45°.
