Situated on the summit of a prominent hillock, in undulating pasture with wide views to E, S and SW. Monument described in 1971 as an oval-shaped area (dims. 27.8m NNE-SSW; 25.5m WNW-ESE) enclosed by a bank and external fosse. The slight earth and stone bank has been replaced by part of a modern stone wall from WSW-W-NW. Traces of an external fosse are visible from S-WSW and at NNW. A gap (Wth at top 4m; basal Wth 1.5m) at ENE may represent the entrance. The interior has a gentle W-facing slope with faint traces of cultivation ridges running NE-SW.
