What is recorded here

Situated on a slight rise, in gently undulating pasture, with good views from SW-W-N and NE. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular-shaped earthwork. Levelled monument described in 1971 as no surface remains visible. A field boundary curving from SSW-W-N follows the outline of the monument and may incorporate the original enclosing bank of the ringfort. We would classify this as ‘Ringfort’ based on the field report and mapping. Compiled by Alison McQueen, Vera Rahilly and Caimin O’Brien. Date of upload: 23 July 2019

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
