What is recorded here

The precise location of a children's burial ground within the estate of Grange More House has not been identified. An information panel erected by the Raharney Tidy Towns Committee in the centre of Raharney village recorded that the 'estate was said by some to have been haunted since one of its fields is occupied by a graveyard called Cillahín or Church of the Infants. This was a place where unbaptized infants were buried. The headstones from the graveyard were said to have been used in the building of Grangemore House'. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
