Situated on a rise, in gently undulating pasture, with good views in all directions. Monument described in 1970 as an oval-shaped area (dims. 20.2m NW-SE; 20.2m E-W) enclosed by a bank that is best preserved from S-W-N and has been ploughed out from NNE-ENE. It has been partly quarried away at E and has been reduced to a scarp (H 1.6m) from ESE-S. There is no definite trace of a fosse or entrance feature. The interior is uneven with several slight natural humps and hollows. Monument is visible as a roughly oval-shaped earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
