Situated in pasture. Chamfered (Wth 0.18m) octagonal-shaped base (base Wth. 0.72m; Top Wth 0.45m; H 0.23m) with central hole (diam. 0.12m; D 0.23m) for column of medieval font now missing visible at W end of poorly preserved ruins of Rathconnell Church (WM019-041----) which stands in centre of graveyard (WM019-041001-). Castle site (WM019-040001-) lies c. 75m to NW with motte & bailey (WM019-040002-) c. 85m to NW.
