Situated on an elevated rise, in pasture, with good views of Mount Dalton Lough to E, to S and W, inhibited by higher ground to SW and N. In W quadrant of ringfort (WM017-107----) are the remains of a roughly rectangular-shaped area defined by some boulders and bedrock. These boulders seem to form a corner at SW and there are further traces of a low bank running E-W along the N side. It is not possible to be certain whether these features are natural or represent the remains of a structure.
