Situated on flat, well drained grassland. A raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 25m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with a wide intervening fosse and a shallow outer fosse. The inner bank is low, and there is a wide intervening space (approx. Wth 6m), between the inner fosse and low outer bank. There is an entrance gap in the inner bank at SE. The interior rises slightly towards the centre. Unusual monument which has the profile of a concentric enclosure rather than a classic bivallate ringfort. The flat berm between the inner platform and outer bank could be the result of post-1700 landscaping or might suggest a different classification. The presence of the berm and the low central platform might suggest the remains of some type of barrow but this is uncertain.
