Situated on SE facing slope of hillock, with good views from SE-S. A large sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 38m NE-SW) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (max. H 1m) and a shallow external fosse. There is an entrance gap (Wth 1.4m) at WSW. The interior slopes from NNE-SSW. Several depressions are visible in the interior. A field fence running N-S, which also marks the townland boundary with Martinstown runs across the E quadrant of the interior.
