Situated on a slight rise of ground in gently undulating grassland, with views restricted by surrounding land. The roadway which marks the townland boundary with Brittas lies less than 5m to W. Ringfort (WM012-191---) 200m to SW. A raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 27m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by a low earthen bank and a shallow external fosse best preserved at W. There is an entrance gap (Wth 1.45m) and causeway (Wth 2.6m) through the fosse at E. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running NE-SW across the interior, which slopes from E-NE. A very wide pit for silage has been cut through the site from NNE-SSW.
