What is recorded here

Situated on the top of a natural rise in undulating grassland. The roadway which marks the townland boundary with Loughagar More lies 40m to E. Ringfort (WM012-193---) 200m to NE. A raised circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 37m NW-SE) enclosed by a poorly preserved bank of earth and stone, and a shallow external fosse. The bank is fragmentary, and the fosse has been infilled from E-S-SW. There is an entrance gap (Wth 1.4m) at NNE. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running N-S across the interior, which slopes to N and E from the centre. See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
