Situated on a slight rise on SW facing of large ridge in gently undulating grassland, with good views to the W and NW. Possible ringfort (WM012-148----) and moated site (WM012-149---) 96m and 150m to W respectively. A slightly raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 30m NE-SW) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a wide shallow external fosse. The bank is visible from SE-S-SW and reduced to a scarp elsewhere. The slight fosse is visible from N-E-SE. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running NNE-SSW across the interior, which rises slightly towards the centre. A road and field fence running N-S intersect the W side of the monument, and a field fence running E-W intersects the S side of the site.
