Situated on SSW facing slope of a high ridge in hilly grassland, with good views good view from SE-S -SW. Ringfort (WM012-132---) 70m to WNW. A circular shaped area (approx. diam. 33m NW-SE) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and deep external fosse. The bank is best preserved from NW-NNE and from E-SE and has several disturbance gaps. The fosse has been infilled from SE-S-WSW. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running WNW-ESE across the interior, which slopes from NW-SE. There is an entrance gap (Wth 1.95m) at SSE, with stone facing visible at the WSW side of the entrance. A field fence running E-W intersects the N side of the monument.
