Situated on E facing slope of rising ground in grassland, with good views to the NE and SE. Ringfort (WM012-125---) 125m to NE. A large sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 42m N-S; 37m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank is substantial, and has several gaps. The fosse appears to have been steepened in places where it has been incorporated into field fences, and the outer bank is low. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.5m) and slight causeway across the fosse at E. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible in the interior, which slopes from W-E. A field fence running N-S intersects the W side of the monument, and a field fence running E-W intersects the S side of the monument.
