What is recorded here

Situated on ENE facing slope just below summit of a steep hill in grassland, with views restricted by the surrounding hills. Ringfort (WM012-096---) 150m to NW, ringfort (WM012-106---) 200m to SE. This site appears to have been levelled, and is now visible only as a faint crop mark on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011. Upstanding monument described in 1970 as a circular shaped area (approx. diam. 33m NE-SW) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and a slight external visible from S-W, and has been steepened at W. There is a gap with a wooden gate at NNE. The interior slopes steeply to the NNE. Field fences intersect the perimeter at NW, N, NNE and S.
