Situated on NE facing slope of hill, surrounded by undulating grassland. A large circular shaped area (approx. diam. 33m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks and an intervening fosse and a slight outer fosse. The inner bank is poorly preserved, and reduced to a scarp from NE-SSE. The inner fosse is wide and shallow and is best preserved from ESE-WSW, and appears to have been steepened in places. The outer bank is also best preserved from ESE-WSW. There is an entrance gap (Wth 0.9m) in the inner bank and causeway across the inner fosse (Wth 3.5m; H 0.4m) at E. The interior slopes gently from S-W-NE.
