What is recorded here

Situated on ESE facing slope of a low rise in grassland, surrounded by poorly drained land. The ground rises to the W and S of the site, and views are restricted. The grass covered wall footings of the S and E wall of the chapel are visible (approx. dims. 7m N-S x 8m E-W) standing in the W quadrant of a trapezoidal-shaped ecclesiastical enclosure (WM012-082001-). The wall footings of a small external rectangular annexe (approx. diam. 6m N-S; 4m E-W) are visible adjoining the W end of the chapel. There is an entrance gap (Wth 3m) mid-way along the S wall of the chapel, and the wall footings of two internal walls are also visible. See attached plan of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
