Situated on N facing slope of a slight rise in grassland, surrounded by gently undulating countryside. This site is almost completely levelled. A circular shaped area (approx. diam. 32m N-S) enclosed by a very poorly preserved earthen bank and a slight external fosse. There is a possible entrance at NE, where there is a slight depression (Wth 1.8m) in the scarp. A field fence forms part of the perimeter of the monument from ESE-S-WSW. This field boundary forms the townland boundary with Sheefin.
