Situated on a low rise in grassland with good views of the surrounding countryside. A stream which marks the townland boundary with Gartlandstown lies 70m the W. Ringfort (WM012-015----) 210m to W. Present remains consist of a raised oval-shaped area (approx. diam. 22m N-S; 17m E-W) enclosed by two earth and stone banks with slight remains of an intervening fosse with causewayed entrance gap (Wth 1.4m) at SW. The inner bank is well preserved, while the outer bank is only visible from SW to W. The interior rises slightly towards the centre.
