Situated on a slight natural rise surrounded by gently undulating grassland, with good views from NW-E-S. The corner of the townland boundary with Paristown is 120m to SW. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam 29m N-S; 38m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank. The interior rises slightly towards the centre, and contains several low banks and hollows, and also traces of cultivation ridges. See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
