Situated on top of a prominent hillock in grassland, overlooked by a hill to the NNE, with excellent views to the E, S & NW. Ringfort (WM008-084----) 450m to NE. Ringfort (WM008-086----) 340m to SE. A raised sub-circular shaped area (diam. 37.5m N-S; 36m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and slight external fosse. The bank is fragmentary and is best preserved at SE-W. The fosse is visible at NNW and from SW-W. The perimeter of the site has been dug away at WNW & SSE, and there is a quarry hole externally at N. The interior slopes from N-S and has traces of cultivation ridges which run NE-SW. At the centre of the interior is a low circular earthen mound (diam. 2.1m; H 0.15m).
