Situated on the demesne lands of Barbavilla House 680m to NW on a slight natural rise in a woodland area. Ringfort (WM008-077----) 230m to NW. Ringfort (WM008-082----) 200m to WSW. A circular shaped area (approx. diam. 36m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by a low bank. The bank has been levelled in places. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running E-W across the interior of the monument. The site has been planted with trees, and appears to have been modified as part of this planting. There is a large quarry hole with mound of upcast spoil externally at NE.
