Situated on undulating well drained grassland with good views of the surrounding countryside. The river which forms the boundary with townland of Sheepstown is 75m to S. Ringfort (WM008-067---) 375m to SE. Ringfort (WM008-068---) 330m to S. In the NE quadrant of Ringfort (WM008-066---) on the NE side of a hut site (WM008-066001-) there is a second hut site, visible as a sub-rectangular shallow depression aligned NW-SE.
