Situated on a natural rise surrounded by gently undulating grass-land. House (WM008-036---) 70m to NW. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as a sub-rectangular shaped enclosure annotated as 'Fort' with a small rectangular ruin in the interior. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a rectangular building (approx. dims. 15m N-S x 3m E-W) standing in the centre of a sub-rectangular shaped field (approx. dims. 45m N-S; 25m E-W). Not depicted as an antiquity on any edition of the OS maps. This site has been levelled, no surface remains visible. Compiled by: Frank Coyne and Caimin O'Brien Date of upload: 19 April 2017
