Situated on a slight natural rise in gently undulating grassland, overlooked by higher ground to the E and S, with excellent views to the W & N. Ringfort (WM008-039----) 105m to SE. A raised sub-rectangular shaped area (approx. dims. 36m N-S; 20m E-W) enclosed by a two poorly preserved earthen banks and intervening fosse. The inner bank is best preserved at N, and is levelled elsewhere. The slight fosse is visible only at N & SW, and outer bank is only visible at N. There is an entrance gap (Wth 0.9m) at W. The interior slopes from N-S. The monument has been quarried into at NE.
