Situated in pasture-land on SE facing slope of a steep hill. Ringfort (WM007-092----) 275m to N. Lough Derravaragh 800m to SW. A circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 50m N-S) enclosed by an almost completely levelled earthen bank (H 0.2m) from SW-N-E. A post-1837 trackway bisects the site from NW-SE. A field fence running ENE-WSW which marks the townland boundary with Streamstown intersects the site at S. A roadway running N-S , which also marks the townland boundary with Streamstown intersects the site at SE. It is likely that the enclosing element of the ringfort at S and SE extended beyond the townland boundary.
