Situated in pasture-land on a narrow terrace on the W facing slope of rising ground with extensive views to the NW & S. Killintown House 120m to SSE. Levelled ringfort (WM007-082----) 320m to E. A raised D-shaped area (approx. diam. 65m NNW-SSE; 60m NE-SW) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank, best preserved at NE, and almost completely levelled elsewhere, and slight external fosse which has been almost completely in-filled. The interior slopes from NW-SE and has traces of cultivation ridges.
