Situated on a low rise in fairly well drained pasture-land, with wide views of the surrounding countryside. Ringfort (WM007-042----) 90m to NW. A slightly raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 40m N-S; 36m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank from N-W-SW, a shallow fosse at E and a poorly preserved outer bank at NE. The interior slopes gently from W-E, and has traces of cultivation ridges which run E-W. A post-1837 field boundary running WSW-ESE intersects the SW side of the monument, and a field boundary, part of an old lane way intersects the SE side of the site.
