Situated in pasture-land on a small natural terrace on the NE face of a high ridge running NW-SE. Extensive views to the N towards Lough Derravaragh. Ringfort (WM007-070---) 160m to NE. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 20m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by a very poorly preserved earthen bank and slight outer fosse. The interior slopes from SW-NE, and has traces of cultivation ridges which run NE-SW. Compiled by: Frank Coyne and Caimin O'Brien Date of upload: 15 April 2017
