Situated on a low ridge which runs NW-SE, in hilly gently undulating pasture-land. Ringfort (WM007-041----) 275m to SE. Slightly raised sub-circular area (approx. diam. 30m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank with slight traces of a fosse, absent at S where a field boundary and post-1700 laneway intersects the monument from SE-SW. Possible entrance gap at ENE (Wth 3m). The slightly raised interior slopes from SW to NE and has traces of cultivation ridges. A low sub-rectangular shaped raised are of mound in the centre may represent a hut or house site (WM007-040001-).
