Situated on a low NW-SE ridge with good views to the SE, SW & NW of the surrounding countryside. An oval-shaped area (diam. 47.6m) enclosed by an earthen bank (ext. H 1m) which has been levelled from N-E, the remainder of which appears to have been steepened both inside and out in relatively modern times with deep external fosse (Wth 2.4m), best preserved from ESE-S-SSW. Causewayed entrance gap (Wth 2m) at NNW and modern gap in bank at S. The interior has a slight slope from SE-NE, and there are traces of cultivation ridges running E-W across the interior. Several modern fences encroach on the site, and a deep drain running NW-SE cuts through the fosse at E. Modern farm buildings located immediately N of ringfort.
