Situated on low-lying marshy land with views of the surrounding countryside to S. A roughly circular area (diam. 22.4m NE-SW; 21.2m NW-SE) enclosed by an earth and stone bank mainly reduced to a scarp with traces of an external shallow fosse visible at N and S only, at E the site is enclosed by a field hedge and the fosse here forms a ditch. No entrance feature visible. The SW quadrant of the interior is higher than the other sides. An oval-shaped depression in the NW quadrant may be the result of post-1700 quarrying.
