What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle E-facing slope at the E edge of a ridge, with steep downhill slopes immediately N of the site. Oval area (dims. 47m NE-SW; 41m NW-SE) defined by an earth and gravel bank (Wth 3-4m; H 0.25-0.8m) with an external fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.8m). There is a slight external bank (Wth 2m; H 0.3m) at the N. A D-shaped annexe (WI043-012001-) is attached to the W edge of the ringfort. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 December 2008
