Situated on a marked NW-facing slope. Oval area (dims. c. 53m NW-SE; 42m NE-SW), defined NE-S-SW by an earthen bank (Wth 2.6-4.5m). At the NE there are traces of a fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.4m), and there is a small field attached to the site at this point which may be an original feature. There are no visible internal features or entrances. The E half of the site is shown on the 1907 OS 6-inch map as a field boundary.
