What is recorded here

Situated on level ground 180m NW of a church site (WI042-031001-). Unpierced ringed granite cross-head (dims. 0.7m across arms; H 0.5m; T 0.16m) with a central boss on one face and a triskele in false relief on the other, lying beside a crude pyramidal granite cross-base. (Harbison 1992, 132) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 December 2008 This monument is subject to a preservation order made under the National Monuments Acts 1930 to 2014 (PO no. 134/1940).
