What is recorded here

This is the record for the burnt pit (Site N) excavated by Brendán Ó Riordáin (97E0083) on the Arklow bypass road scheme. The sub-circular pit (1.3m x 0.9m; depth 0.7m) contained burnt material and the surrounding clay was reddened by heat. The only find from the feature was one very thin flake of roughly worked flint.
