This is the record for a spread of burnt material partially excavated by Brendán Ó Riordáin (97E0083) on the Arklow bypass road scheme. The spread had a depth of 0.25m. Excavation ceased when the area became flooded. The area was then backfilled and left undisturbed. (Ó Riordáin 1999)
