What is recorded here

An unenclosed settlement which included a round house (diam. 5-7m), the possible remains of a second round house and a central oval pit were excavated here in 2006 in advance of the construction of the landfill (Excavation Licence 06E0552 (area 6)). Radiocarbon dates of 760–400 BC and 380–160BC were obtained from the site. (Frazer 2009, 572) Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 24 January 2013
