On the western slope of Carrig Mountain, on the crest of an E-W ridge from which the ground slopes down to S, W and N. A circular area (int. diam. 3.6m E–W; 3.5m N-S; ext. diam. 6.6m N–S; 6.3m E–W) defined by a low grass-covered spread of fairly large stones (int. H 0.1m at S; 0.3m at N (upslope); ext. H 0.2m at N; 0.4m at S). The monument is in an unplanted area of forestry. Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy and Mary Tunney Date of upload: 3 December 2012
